Running for Frank

I ran in the Pittsfield Balloon Rally 5K on Sunday, August 7. This year’s race was named in remembrance of my good friend, Frank Donovan, long-time resident of Pittsfield, annual supporter and volunteer at the balloon rally, and coordinator of Northeast Delta Dental’s road race sponsorships. I finished 12th out of a field of 109 runners, and my average was a 7:20 mile, with a total time of 22:46. It was heart-warming to spend some time with Frank’s daughter, Libby, and her husband. Thank you to everyone who came out to support this event.
