Teamwork

On Friday, March 12, we had an awesome DDPNH Meeting as described in my last post.   The day was carefully planned and well executed, and I have many DDPNH teammates to thank, both for helping me with my preparation, and also for their support and their own delivery of their presentations.   The next day, March 13, we had a 3 miler road race at NHTI, a fund-raiser for the NHTI cross country team.   I did a 19.21, my first sub 20 at this distance, which is good for me.   I have to again thank teamwork for this performance; one of my running friends, Dan Walsh, helped push me along.  Without his encouragement, and without the training I’ve been doing (like the Annual Meeting preparation),  I would not have had the good result.  So, whether it’s an annual meeting or a road race, the fun is the execution of the training!
