Everything You Wanted to Know and Didn’t Know Whom to Ask about the Affordable Care Act

On Thursday, April 10 from 8:30 am to 12:00 pm at Southern New Hampshire University, there will be a great opportunity for small business owners to learn about the complex and ever evolving Affordable Care Act.

Since President Obama signed the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA) on May 23, 2010, all business owners have been preparing to comply with the law.

The law has now been updated numerous times. The Health and Human Services Administration and the Internal Revenue Service have posted many clarifications, final regulations and delays to the law following the United States Supreme Court rulings and the House of Representative votes. Although we have heard from elected officials, insurance companies, consultants, lawyers, the news media, and businesses, the ACA is still a mystery to most of us.

On April 10, 2014 there will be a forum designed specifically for small business owners regarding the Affordable Care Act. The forum is being produced by Northeast Delta Dental and The Center for Women’s Business Advancement at Southern New Hampshire University. Representatives from Northeast Delta Dental, The Small Business Administration, The State of New Hampshire, Great NH Restaurants, Compass Health Care Advisors, BerryDunn, Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield, and Harvard Pilgrim Health Care will be present to speak on these issues. The forum will be at the Southern New Hampshire University’s Dining Center Banquet Facility from 8:30 am to 12:00 pm.

If you plan on attending, please be sure to pre-register by clicking cwbanh.com. If you are unable to attend, please visit my blog after the conference for key updates from the conference.
