February 28 is Tooth Fairy Day

Originating hundreds of years ago in Europe, the legend of the Tooth Fairy bringing a gift for a lost tooth is still practiced around the world today. Losing a baby tooth can be traumatic for a child so it is believed the Tooth Fairy was created by parents to give children something to look forward to every time they lose a tooth. Following tradition, baby teeth are placed under children’s pillows at night in hopes of waking up to a wonderful surprise from the Tooth Fairy! Northeast Delta Dental’s own Tooth Fairy makes visits at New Hampshire Fisher Cats games in Manchester, NH. Children 12 and under can enter our Oral Health Challenge to win tickets to a Fisher Cats game and the opportunity to see the Tooth Fairy. Visit your dentist or our Web site for details.
