Northeast Delta Dental (NEDD) is celebrating fifteen years of its Guarantee Of Service ExcellenceSM (GOSE) program, our written commitment to providing the highest level of customer service. The seven-point program is a self-imposed penalty of varying refunds to our stakeholders when we make a mistake. NEDD considers the payments to be “investments” that pay dividends in other ways, such as internal process improvements that in turn reduce administrative costs and result in savings to the bottom line. The program’s success can further be illustrated with our significant gains in employer groups, individuals covered and participating dentists, each of whom have a stake in the Guarantees. The GOSE program really separates NEDD from the competition, and the Guarantees have an additional unexpected benefit for the corporation, adding an espirit d’corps to our culture.
