What’s the Value of Business Awards?

Northeast Delta Dental has received many awards for business practices and civic involvement. Most business awards require a rigorous application process. We don’t always win. If you were to ask me why we apply for national, regional, and state business awards, I’d say these are some of our best reasons.

Like New Hampshire businesses throughout the state, during the last year we were challenged in unprecedented ways. But our boards, our leadership team, and all our employees were innovative and resourceful, and we worked hard together in ways that  resulted in an outstanding year from business and philanthropic perspectives.

As you may have heard in either a news release from Business NH Magazine or its May issue, Northeast Delta Dental was selected as a Business of the Year 2021. We and the other winners will be recognized at a celebratory event in the fall.

We were selected by Business NH Magazine and the NH Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives twice before in the Financial/Insurance category. This year, for the first time, they separated those categories; and we were named a Business of the Year in the Insurance category.

Here’s a list of the other winners and their categories in case you missed them:           Brendan P. Keegan, CEO of Merchants Fleet, Business Leader of the Year; Bellavance Beverage, Retail/Wholesale; The Common Man Family, Hospitality/Tourism; ConvenientMD Urgent Care, Health Care; JSA Design, Construction Services; Merchant Fleet, Business Services; NH Food Bank, Nonprofit; Red River, Technology; Rivier University, Education; and St. Mary’s Bank, Financial Services.

Congratulations to all Business of the Year Winners, and to you, if you represent an award-winning business or nonprofit. If you’ve never won a business award, you might consider applying for one.
